Waaaay out numbered but always laughing...we are always laughing! Which is a sometimes a good thing and sometimes especially bad when trying NOT to encourage certain behaviors in Lil Duck. She's sassy. She knows she is funny and she simply radiates when she knows she is making others laugh (apple...tree...couldn't be prouder).
I give you Duck Nuggets
Me: You're going to get yourself in big trouble!
Lil Duck: "...uh...like tow truck trouble?"

While in the car and grumbling yet again about the lack of driving skills in those vehicles around us, Lil Duck pipes up from the back seat..."Well...I will just kick their ASS!" I swear she sounded just like Clint Eastwood.

Lil Duck: Mom? Just call me Phillip Phillips. That's my new nick name."
Me: errrr....oooooookay

After invading the sanctity of my bubbleacious tub o water one night, Lil Duck says "I see your boobs." To which I reply, "Yes, you've seen them before." Without missing a beat and laced with the tone of reminiscence she says, "Yes, yes I have. They looked just like that back when I use to drink from them."
One helluva memory this kid has! I hope she doesn't remember so vividly squeezing through my lady cave. Four is such a great age!

BWhahahahah the last one cracked me up.. You realize now that she is surrounded by boys she is gonna be meaner than any one of them combined?? Such is the way when she has protectors. My niece was the baby in a family of boys and cousins who were boys.. she is meaner than a rattlesnake..but funny as heck.
