It's Monday, It's Monday....wooooh! I can be that excited about today because...well...I just can. Stay tuned later this week and you'll see why I'm loving THIS Monday so much!

Being Monday, it also means I am hooking up with the most awesome Stasha at The Good Life. Her Monday Listicles have become a big 'ole favorite of mine and not just because it helps jumpstart my week with something decent to post beside whining and blathering on about how much I hate Monday's. Via The Mommy Padawan, the topic feeding my obsessive compulsive desire to list  for this week's list happens to be "10 Things you really like about yourself, things you are good at or your super powers."

I enlisted some help with this one. I considered asking Lil Duck but I know she would just say "everything mumsie!  (<--yes she like to adopt a British accent) You are the awesomest person in the whole world." Or she might have simply said, "You let me eat tootsie rolls for breakfast."  I instead implored of Irishman a few moments of his time (because really, a list like this should be easy to make. Heh). So I give you his take on today's listicle...

"10 Things I like (love) about Howard (aka The Duck)"

1. She has the most BEAUTIFUL heart of any person I have EVER met. Unequivocally.

2. Her entire being just lights up the room when she smiles (or maybe that just happens to me).

3. She has a gorgeous heiny

 4. In order to keep this PG-13, I will not go into detail about her super powers. She has them. I know. And it aint flying or X-Ray vision.

5. She has probably one of the best eyes for photography I have ever seen. She can make an ordinary trip to the trout stream look like a wonderland.

6. It is so easy to love her. I mean the deep, passionate, exploding chest kind. The kind that makes you literally hurt when she isn't around.

7. She is literally at the top of a very short list of my very best friends.

8. She makes me giggle like no one has or ever will.

9. She is MORE than patient with me.

10. But the best part is, being with and around her makes ME a better person. I am truly in love with her.

**and with that, I am speechless. Someone is getting lucky tonight {eyebrow wiggle} Ain't LOVE grand?! :O) And NO! I did not pay him to say those things....or offer any sort of 'luckiness' prior to having typed the list up.**

#CoronaRita and Girls Night Out

Cinco de Mayo is merely days away! Is that not the perfect time to head out with the girls?! We get so little girl time anyway, I figure this year I'm going to make a point to head out for a little adult time and girl time with my sister.

There are a plethora of reasons to kick back with friends or family and share laughs, chips and salsa and CoronaRitas. Graduations are coming up, my brithday was a few weeks ago. You could always use that as a reason to celebrate with a special dinner out. Take your sweetie out for a bite to eat. Its a great date place...at least the location near me is. I mean, they have little mints for free on your way out the door. #WINNING Or heck...I've been know to treat myself just because the day ends in Y. There is ALWAYS a reason to be found and if you need one, hit me up and I will find a reason to celebrate for you! 

Summer is quickly upon us and kicking back on the patio cooling off on the patio with an Apple Sizzler (my absolute FAVORITE from the dessert menu) sounds like a great option as well! So see! Take one of my ideas and run to your nearest Chilis!! You won't be sorry!

Blooming Smiles

For the most part, with the exception of a few days of "cold" peppered in, we have skipped over spring and headed right into the beginning of Summer....many months early. You won't hear me complaining. I love the sunshine and I LOVE flowers! Toss those in the blender with my obsession of snapping photos and you get a whole hard drive full of flower shots!

 In conjunction with one of MamaKat's writing prompts today, I am sharing. Too bad we don't have smello-vision yet...

I'm pretty sure that more often than not, I'm the only one finding myself funny. But thats good! No really, it is. I've found that when you are sitting alone and laughing maniacally people tend to NOT approach you. Its a much gentler way than wearing a sign that says, "Despite the look on my face, you are STILL talking to me?"

If I'm not laughing at a text or post somewhere then I'm surely reflecting on my days that are chalk full of those "That Moment When..." uh...moments.

That Moment When...

- You get in, start your car and get caught up in a text marathon before punching the garage door OPEN.

- You comment on how hard the hail is pounding the house and then remember you left your sunroof open.

-You laugh at the assclown frantically wandering the parking lot because they can't remember where they parked.

- YOU are that assclown.

-You realize you didn't get ALL of the shell off the hard-boiled egg.

-It becomes apparent that a short person residing in your house has thoroughly licked your favorite tube of chapstick.

Top 10 Reads - by Lil Duck

It's Monday...again. I'm loving the Monday Listicles link up with Stasha at The Good Life. The topics are always from a very broad range which means it keeps things interesting! Not to mention it allows me to discover some awesome new blogs. People LOVE this link up!

As a voracious reader, I loved that this week focuses on books. Somehow I managed to pass along my appetite for reading to LilDuck (she got all my best qualities). I am thrilled! Before Miss Sassifrass arrived I would easily sail through three or four novels a week. Its been quite some time since I've had the luxury to read at that rate. I have however picked up a novel myself as of late and am thrilled to find stolen moments to spend thumbing pages.

Because I love to involve LilDuck in my posts when possible, not to mention she is ecstatic knowing I'm writing about her, today's list of 10 Books will be Lil Duck's Top Ten reading list.

Bring Your Own Crazy

It's Friday...if you haven't checked out Drazil....do it. She is uber cool. Seriously...she farts gumdrops and lives in Care Bear land. I want to be the bear with the cupcake on its tummy, or the sunshine bear, sometimes the bear with rain would be cool. I look good in blue. 

Anyway, her button is below. Click it, she likes it when you do that. And then snag her questions for today. I'm well aware that you all wait with baited breath to learn more about the Duck (and brush yo teeth! blech).



1. Do you have any siblings? What is your relationship with them? Good, bad, ugly?

I have an older sister and a younger sister. I am the eptiome of the middle child. (<--see, already trying to shift focus to me). I have am awesome relationship with my younger sister. I have to. She know almost ALL my dirt. KnowwhatImean?! We are very close, very supportive and kick each other's ass (or someone else) when its needed.

I HAD a wonderful relationship with my older sister. We all three were actually very very close. She died almost 2 years ago.

2. Let’s talk pizza. Do you prefer homemade or restaurant? What toppings are your fave?

I will do either. I don't eat pizza all that often but when I do I'm a thin crispy crust and heaping veggies kind of gal. I DETEST that meat lovers crap. BLECH. I'm also diabetic so pizza is pretty hard on me if it isn't thin crust.

3. When is the last time you cried – in sadness and in joy?
I cried in sadness yesterday. I cried in joy on April 2nd when Irishman gave me my birthday present;  paid airfare to visit my bestie in Florida!!

4. Do you own a gun – one that is specifically yours? Do you know how to use it?
I do not. Mostly because I know just how much energy it would take to overcome the temptation to shoot stupid people. I have a very low tolerance. Its best for everyone that I just use my wicked shin kicking skillz when needed.

That's not to say I wouldn't love to have one. I've wanted for quite some time to get my license to carry. I've shot Thing 1's airsoft guns. That mostly tells me I would enjoy it WAY too much and unless the target is the size of a barn, no cat, dog, bird, human, car, or kid whizzing by on his skateboard will be safe.

I should stick with shin kicking.

5. Repeat question. Summarize your week!
Started reading 50 Shades of Grey. Crop dusted a warm room for revenge. Had an anvil fall on me (by anvil I mean a kid that LOOKS like an anvil and for some reason couldn't stay awake even standing up. So when he rocked forward on a snore and kept going, I TRIED to step to the side but he grazed me on the way down.) Fought with my job AGAIN for having taken $900 out of my paycheck for no reason. Applied for 3 jobs and decided on my quit date. Hit Zumba with fervor, drank a ton of water and as of today I am still corked up. Traveling always gives me boulder butt. Over slept ONE day and spent the rest of the week battling with my ugly lover, Insomnia. UGH!

Ghosts, Castles, Wine & Beaver

I warned you there would be more. Monday you had a sneak peak into our Treehouse adventure. While I am not sharing photos from the actual treehouse adventures (that's not family friendly) I DO have photo evidence that we left the treehouse. We found great adventures out and about in historic Eureka Springs.

Our first stop on Friday 13, was to take the ghost tour at the Crescent Hotel. This is one of the hotels featured on Ghost Hunters! It was incredibly AWESOME! I highly recommend making this a stop if you ever find yourself visiting Eureka Springs.

This is the famous locker #2 down in the morgue where the thermal imaging camera the Ghost Hunters team used captured a clear human figure standing next to the locker.

Next on our tours during the weekend was the Quigley Castle. This place was incredibly beautiful with amazing views and breathtaking gardens. I took a bazillion photos here. Mrs. Quigley single handedly collected and BUILT this house from stones and rocks. Every single rock she carried to the homestead herself.

We visited the most beautiful Thorncrown Chapel nestled snuggley in the heart of the hills.

We stopped at the local Keels Creek winery for a tasting and of course left with a few bags of new wines we love!

There was plenty of shopping in historic down town as well as sublime history and architecture. Regardless of what we were doing, we had a BLAST!

And rounded out our very full Saturday with some 

live music and drinks at the Rowdy Beaver
