Tarnishing our reputation one state at a time. It's a lofty goal but so far so good! This past weekend Irishman and I drove to Minnesota for the wedding of one of my bestest friends. The weekend was jam packed and time seemed to speed up. Regardless we made the most of every single second, expanded the reach of our reputations and had a blast doing it!
Taking "the short bus" to a whole notha level! It was quite the adventure from the onset. Having read the map incorrectly, I added an extra two hours to our drive on the way up. Way to go, Duck! There's a reason GPS offers turn by turn directions. Of course you have to begin the route at your driveway and not two hours into the drive when you hit the state border. Semantics pffft
We were beyond thrilled when we arrived at the historic St. James Hotel in Red Wing, MN. If you have the chance to stay there...DO IT! If for no other reason than the GIGANTIC tub! It was like having a heated swimming pool all to yourself. This place was AHHHHHmazing!
You know its a good time when the Duck can be talked into Duck Lip pictures! The beautiful bride,
Kristin, is on the left with Favorite Cousin Kate in the middle. Quite the trio we make, dontcha think? And I should probably make small mention that the bar in the basement of the hotel was super amazing!
Fall in Minnesota, while stupid cold was beyond beautiful!
And of course, the reason we were there to begin with...

Thanks, Ducky! Wow, I would drive all the way there for the ginormous tub. I'm all about that. You two are such a cute couple! What a great weekend!!

Looks like a great time. My hubs and I always get lost when we go on a trip sometimes it adds to the fun, other times not so much.

I'm so jealous! I want to soak in a huge tub then have drinks with girlfriends and rock a blue dress with my handsome hubby. Even the Minnesota part looks nice. Lucky!
